Orchid is a small studio on Burns Street, a few minutes from Glasgow city centre. We are looking for therapists to join Laura, Aon and Pik Kei.

What the work is

One-to-one treatments in a quiet room, with the time to do them properly. The studio is open daily from 10:00 until 20:00, so there is real flexibility in how a week is put together.

We are interested in therapists working in any of these:

  • Traditional Thai massage

  • Deep tissue and sports recovery

  • Cupping

  • Manual lymphatic drainage

  • Facial and sculptural work

You do not need all of them. Depth in one matters more to us than a list.

Who we are looking for

  • Hands-on experience in massage therapy, in a studio, spa or clinic setting

  • A working knowledge of anatomy, enough to find the thing that is actually causing the problem

  • A relevant qualification, and your own professional insurance

  • Someone who can read a body and adjust, rather than running the same routine on everyone

  • Someone comfortable working alone with a client and making the judgement calls that come with it
